2009 Professional Pictures

We had our pictures take Friday night by Jerry, Nick's uncle. They were all supposed to be outside, however, by 5 in the evening it was only about 48 degrees. We didn't last too long outside before moving into the studio! The kids did great once they got warm!

My 30th Birthday

Tony and Calla McCumber's Wedding!

The kids did so great at Tony and Calla's wedding. Tony is Nick brother. Nick was the best man, I sang, and Cole and Claire were the ring bearer and flower girl. My parents came and took care of Cane for the day, thank goodness! It was a long day, but Cole and Claire did so great. They smiled in all their pictures before hand, were angels during the wedding, and partied hard at the reception! They may not have been ready to leave with Grandma and Grandpa, but Nick and I were ready for them to go!

Cole and Claire did amazing! They stayed in the back of the church with Nick and the rest of the wedding party until it was their turn to walk up. Claire wasn't all smiles, but she didn't frown! They did a good job walking slowly together and then came and sat by me up in the front. I sang during the wedding and they sat in their seats and quietly watched and smiled at me while I sang! I was so proud of them!

The Amazing Birthday week!

The week was full of fun! 3 birthday parties and their 1st day of preschool!

Cole asked for a batman cake, and Claire wanted a princess (cinderella) cake. This making of cakes is way too stressful though!

Of course, we can't do birthdays without Chucky Cheese!

Our first day of PreSchool! They were so excited to get to go to school this year. They go to Preschool three mornings a week at St. Patrick's church, a Catholic church in Cedar Falls. It works out great, because of my schedule I can drop them off and pick them up to take them to day care for the rest of the day. They absolutely love it!

Of course, Claire is fully decked out in her princess clothes and back pack!

My parents friends had a shower for Marcie and Chad.

4th Birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa McQuinns. We normally have one party at our house for everyone, but this year with Marcie getting married, and Tony getting married (nick's brother) we couldn't find a weekend that worked for everyone! So the kids got two parties, one at both the grandma's houses!

Cane thought he needed a turn blowing out the candles as well!
